Club Takeover virtual event funds nearly 20K meals for the Capital Area Food Bank.

With the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic shutting down major events in 2020, the collaboration of Kappa Alpha  Psi Fraternity, Inc. alumni chapters and related foundations, including Kappa Community Development Foundation,  that sponsor Kappa Takeover produced a series of three virtual events that were broadcast on Facebook Live in  April and May 2020.

The Club Takeover events featured a variety of music played by DJs from across the country. During the DJ sets, event participants were encouraged to make donations to the Capital Area Food Bank to fund meals for DMV-area  families affected by the COVID-19 economic crisis.

The events raised enough money to fund 19,500 meals provided to DMV-area families through the Capital Area Food Bank.
